LG G3 vs Sony Xperia Z3 displays

I’m already hearing that the Z3 is not a go for many because of the lack of a 2K display.
So let’s compare the two.

The Xperia Z3 has a clear and bright 5.2-inch 1080p LCD screen with a pixel density of 442ppi and Sony’s TRILUMINOS Display, Live Color LED, and X-Reality and the LG G3’s 5.5-inch QHD display with a pixel density of 538 ppi is amazing BUT. While the increase in resolution is noticeable, the G3’s has a dim display, color inaccuracy, and its clearly over-sharpened when you hold them side by side. Both phones are amazing  to look at. But in my opinion the Xperia Z3 is the winner.
As 1440p games and video become available for the G3 then I would possibly change my mind. But as of now everything is still 1080p unless you are watching a TK Tech News video in 1440 or MKBHD in 1440 on YouTube, there really isn’t a use for 1440p displays at this time.

So the biggest take away for me here is Sony claim of up to two days use on a single charge. I really can’t wait to test this theory and see if it lives up to the hype.

Another major feature has to be the camera. We saw the major improvements from the Z1 to the Z2 and now we see yet again Sony has made some serious improvements.

No 2k display but that’s OK. As I’ve stated I love the G3 but there really isn’t apps and or games that support 1440p yet and at this time its overkill in 6 months when we see the Z4 maybe not so much.

What are your thoughts on the Sony Xperia Z3?

Sony Xperia Z3 to come to Sprint in Q4

If the news out of Reuters is correct it looks like Sprint may have made something good happen for its customer base.
Reports are that softbank were able to strike a deal with Sony to offer the smartphone this year.

Currently only ATT (James Bond phone) and T-MOBILE (Xperia Z and Z1s) have sold Sony smart phones.
Verizon was rumored to offer the Z2 but scrapped the idea.

What do you think about this news if you are a Sprint Customer? And would the Z3 make you switch?

Let me know in the comments.
