The Sony Xperia Z3 Compact Tablet is official with some great specs and of course water resistance this will be a hot item come the fall. Here are some specs and our thoughts.

Specs include support for high-def audio output, 8.1MP main shooter ,2.2MP front facing, Processor is a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 running the show, helped out by a solid 3GB of RAM. Same as the Z3
16GB storage with microSD expansion to 128GB,
A nice 4500mAh battery, and a frame that measures 6.4mm thick.
For radios we should see WiFi and LTE. The tablet should be available by the fall.
No Sony fans no news on a new Xperia Z Ultra 🙁 I know that sucks, but one can dream for phone support on the Z3 compact tablet.
