Windows phone 9 is coming and not to far After windows 9.
According to source, developer builds will be available coming in December.

With multi window support for devices with displays of 4.7 inches or larger.

So yes in this new version of Windows it looks like there will be Split window support, Floating Apps (not sure what that means) And a merger of RT and Windows Phone.

This is funny in the documents Ive looked at there is lots of mentions of Windows Mobile. That would be totally hilarious is microsoft went back that route and changed the name back.

There is 13 mentions of Amazon and apps in the Windows Phone section as well. We know there was speculation that Microsoft was thinking of supporting Android Apps, What a COOP this would be if the Amazon App store was supported.

This would not be anything new as we have seen BlackBerry do the same thing in recent months.
